Today we went off for skiing – the kids got enrolled in a 2 hour ski school and Jim and I hit the slopes. The weather is supposed to get even warmer and rainy, so today we a good day to hit the slopes. And it was ladies day at Hawknest, so my lift ticket was free. I made a few runs before getting completely plowed over by a snowboarder. For the record, he did STOP to make sure I could get up, but didn’t apologize for barreling into me, so I had a few choice words for him. The back and butt pain put a damper on the rest of the afternoon so I finished up and then watched the kids ski. The hot tub is going to feel good tonight!

Oh wow, this is so odd. I just got off the phone with my mom. My parents recently retired to Breckenridge. Yes, they are ski bums. Retirees usually move to Florida right? Well ski bums move to the snow. ANYWAY…….she was telling me that the snowboarders were the rudest people EVER, and they do run you over and not even give a care about it! That hot tub is going to be great for you tonight!
