Blogitive is one of the companies I do a little paid blogging with. They announced on their blog that:
We Had One Blogger that Made Over $15,000 in 2006 with Blogitive
You need lots of Blogs that qualify and you need to persistently check the website often for new offers but it clearly can be accomplished. P.S. We are sending 1099s out to anyone that made over $600 for 2006 that is a United States citizen
Guess what? It wasn’t me!

My office put out word today that an arrest was made in the car-jacking in our garage this week.
Strangely, this does not make me WANT to go to the office.

Did I ever tell you guys about the time Jim got advice on where to buy HDMI cable from Dave Andreychuk, the former captain of the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team? Jim walked into a Tampa electronics store, and stopped at a display of the cable - Dave Andreychuk walks into the store, and goes to the same display. Dave struck up a conversation with Jim about the cable, and told him he could save money by getting it online! I asked Jim if he asked for an autograph, and he said no…he just was happy with just getting advice on where to get his cable with from Dave.

I just noticed that Coupon Chief has a travel section. Duh! I’ve been busting my butt trying to find SOME sort of affordable “adult” vacation, and there’s a whole section of travel coupons sitting right in front of me. I guess I’m not very observant. I may just start my search for deals all over again, now that I’ve got promo codes for Travelocity from Coupon Chief!
One of the deals I spotted was for Cruises Only. We’ve booked several cruises through Cruises Only, and we’ve always found good deals. In fact, once we got a refund, because the price went down after we booked. A lot of places would probably say too bad, since they already had our money, but not Cruises Only. Seeing them at Coupon Chief makes me wonder if a cruise might be a good anniversary getaway…

This morning in the shower I was thinking about how the rest of my day was going to play out. For some reason, I convinced myself that it was Thursday, and I was happy because Jim’s working late, so I’d have the TV all to myself.
You can only imagine my disappointment when I realized it was Wednesday. I’ve only got Medium and some DVR’ed episodes of M*A*S*H to watch.

I tend to be forgetful at times. I forget stupid things that mess with my day in a big way. For instance, a week ago, I FORGOT to pick up my kids at school. I got so involved with work, that when I looked at the clock, I realized I was 30 minutes late. Whoops! And more than once, I’ve forgotten to charge my cell phone, so I leave the house and find that it’s dead. Annoying! I could easily solve that of course, by purchasing a cell phone charger that works in my car, but I keep FORGETTING to shop for one! No more, ok? Wirefly has a whole page of car chargers, so there’s no excuse for me anymore.
Ooh, I just spotted something Jim needs too. He lost the battery cover to his Razr, so he had to buy a cheesy plastic cover for his phone to keep the battery from falling out. How about this phone accessory for him - a plastic snap on shell! I could get him a pink one…or one with flowers…he’d be surprised, right? Anything would be an improvement over what he’s got now.

It looks like Karen S was the winner of the latest HP camera puzzle on PayPerPost. I know Karen from a moms message board, and you couldn’t have picked a nicer person to win. Well, except for me
I think after this, it would be a cool idea for PayPerPost to try something else though - you can only take the puzzle thing so far. Well, this sort of puzzle. I’d love to see something similar to TenHunt, where we visit advertiser’s sites to answer trivia questions, and the whole thing is timed. Not fair for people who can’t get online at the time it starts, but it would still be fun. I’ve always liked scavenger hunts. I’m trying to think of other puzzle concepts that don’t involve this photo thing…but still get you visiting lots of websites…hmmm…that seems to be all I can come up with so far. I’ll have to keep brainstorming on that.
But this puzzle thing…something goes wrong everytime.

Email is something I enjoy. Probably because I don’t get bills via email, I can easily toss junk mail, and I usually get an email every day letting me know I made money blogging. What’s not to love? Here are some other reasons, and this post brought to you on behalf of MindComet, because they do email marketing.
Why do you love email?![]()

Not much of anything going on here today. This darn HP camera puzzle on PayPerPost is wrapping up soon, like now. Then I can stop wondering about WHO will win this time. Will there be a snafu? Will it go smoothly? Only time will tell…
(already, there are problems. Let me put on my “surprised” face)
