We told the kids about our trip to North Carolina on Christmas Day - it was one of their presents! They’ve wanted to go back ever since our first trip there, and it should be even more fun this time since they’re all a little older and will have more fun skiing and tubing. I made up a little scavenger hunt with clues hidden all over the house for them to figure it out, and the final clue led them to our truck, where their jackets and new ski bibs were hiding. We booked our hotel room for the way up, and now that the cat is finally out of the bag, I’m letting myself get excited about the trip!
