We dropped off my wedding band and engagement ring yesterday for repairs.  Finally!  It’s been in sad shape for years and Jim promised me a year ago we’d fix it.  We were kind of scare of how much it would cost, but I just got the estimate, and if I knew how little it would cost, I would have done it YEARS AGO!

My engagement ring just needed the prong straighted out around the diamond.  That was done.  The wedding band started off with 2 round diamonds and a pear shaped sapphire on each side of it - it’s a wrap, designed to fit around my engagement diamond.  Slowly but surely, I lost stones out of the setting, until I just had 3 diamonds left.  Jim actually forgot what it used to look like!  It’s going to be ready on Friday, and it’s going to be all clean and shiny and new again - I can’t wait - no more ghetto wedding set for me.
