I love playing trivia games – Trivial Pursuit, Scene It – you name it, I’ll play it. I play a monthly trivia tourney with some of my local online friends, and I’d love to be on Jeopardy some day, but I’d probably freeze up under pressure. I just like useless facts and knowledge…in fact, the book in our “reading room” (::cough::bathroom::cough::) is the Readers Digest Book of Facts, which is a great bathroom book because you can literally open it up to any page and read something interesting. The Aviva Trivia Blog is a lot like that too, and I recommend that you check it out! Each entry provides you with mind bogglings trivia, facts, and useless information that may someday make you a big winner in final Jeopardy. For instance, did you know:

The average shave will trim away somewhere between 20,000-25,000 hairs from a man’s face.

There’s an actual job title called “chicken sexer“.

There are 80,000 killer bees in a colony, and it takes one of them just three seconds to sting you.

What’s that smell?? Showers are traced to Egypt and Greece, however, and date from c.1350 B.C.
