I removed BaStats.  People were seeing an error (one that I couldn’t see though) and I didn’t know how to fix it.  I reinstalled ShortStat thinking it would work now - no deal.  I can’t figure out why it decided to stop working on August 27, but it’s obviously related to the WordPress upgrade I did, because it stopped working on the day of the upgrade.  I guess it’s a WP 2.04 issue, because on my 3DayMom.com site, I’m using WP 2.0 and ShortStat is just fine there.  So do I want to write the developer an email?  I do, but if he’s going to respond back in developer-speak, I’m not going to get it.  Sigh.

Oh! I had the same problem with ShortStat - there is a fix for it. Let me see if I can find it. Also - Google Analytics is a good stats program and there is a WP plugin for it, too.

I don’t like google analytics for me. I don’t think its results are accurate. I still use it on a couple blogs just because I like some of the graphs it creates.

The Google Analytics plugin was a pain if I’m remembering right.
