July 1985 - I was nine. Here I am with ‘Miss Piggy’, my pet guinea pig.

Ready for dance class - rocking the legwarmers and jelly shoes. I’m here with the family dog, Porky. He got out of the yard when was 12 and was hit by the garbage truck. He was the best dog ever. And take note of my Super Bowl 19 t-shirt!

I’m ten! Here am I dressed up for church, braiding my Cabbage Patch dolls hair.

July 1987 - in Pensacola. I’m 11 here. Starting to look more like the “me” I am today, don’t you think?

1988 - my 12th birthday. My cousin Craig at left, my next door neighbor and best friend Melissa, me, and my friend Chris.

I’m 13! And still wearing a one piece bathing suit with a ruffle and a sailboat on it. THANKS MOM for dressing me funny! Love that layered haircut too!

[...] First, I’d like to point out that no one commented on yesterdays post, Birthday Countdown: 2 Days. Get over there and do it! [...]
I could have sworn I commented - I meant to! I was going to say how special I feel, knowing I’ve celebrated MY birthday at that very same patio table in that same spot!!
Also? I love the patterned tights.
Aww….you did, didn’t you, I almost forgot about that! Maybe Jim and I should swing by the old house and ask the guy if we can have one last Happy Birthday out there…
Nice pics
I like the jelly shoes!!!
