Here I am in my television debut. I was picked to be on the local Romper Room show with Miss June in May of 1980. You were supposed to be 5 to be on the show, but apparently I charmed them, and they let me on anyway. My mom has some old movies of this on Super 8 mm film, and she had it transfered to VHS. At one point, while skipping around the set, I fell right on my face. I get up – and keep going – like the star I am!
My 5th birthday. As you can tell from the silver crown, it’s always been an extravaganza. I believe this was my 2nd party for this birthday, judging from the pictures in the album. I had a “friend” party at McDonalds and this was my family party. (And my mother wonders WHY my birthday is a big deal? She started it!)
Here I am washing my mothers Maverick out in the driveway. I was 6 here.
This is Christmas 1982. What the hell did my mother put me in here? Who wears a hat with a nightgown?
Last one for now…this was my “boyfriend” Brandon Loomer. We hooked up again when we were in high school and went to the prom. He’s in and out of jail now. This was my birthday at the ice cream store my father owned.
