I’ve always been fond of the 4th of July for 2 reasons - I’m a bicentennial baby, and it’s only 24 more days til my birthday. July is the birthday extravaganza month for me and the good ole USA. I’m going out next weekend for tea with my girls (not MY little girls - my friends who are girls but are not girlfriends…LOL) and I took off a few days before and after my birthday, which conveniently falls on a weekend this year. That’s just a sign to party, right?
We had some friends over last night for a pre-4th cookout. Jim had to work today so we did our celebrating on the 3rd instead. Burgers, salad, beer…and explosives - a recipe for fun! The girls got their asses spanked at Scene It by the boys. (Actually, ONE boy on the team did most of the question answering)
Tonight we’re repeating it at Tam’s house - brownies are in the over right now

Happy 4th there, girlie! I forgot you were a July baby also - me too (or three!), and this is my LAST year before the B-I-G one!! OMG!! I’m gonna be…….20!?! ;o) (a girl can wish, right??)
