I didn’t unpack a thing yesterday. GO ME! In fact, I pretty much got nothing done all day. I slept til 10-ish, didn’t shower til noon, and then went to Home Depot. SOMEONE living in this house (not me!) lost the screw peg thingies that hold in the shelf on our entertainment unit, and some very important screws for the dryer, that attach the cord to the back of the dryer. No doubt, we’ll find them months from now in a box or towels or some such place.
While at Home Depot, I also bought a tension rod for the curtain I wanted to hang over the sink. I even got it up before Jim came home. Here’s how observant Jim is - these curtains were in our other house, that we moved out of in November. I had them in the living room and our family room. He saw the one hanging over the window in the kitchen and said he loved it, and that it was a same we didn’t have more. I said we DO have more, from the old house. He doesn’t remember them at ALL. Silly man.
Oh, I also did the grout sealer in our master shower. We found some grout sealer in a spray bottle and I tried that - it seemed to work pretty well, and was way easier than liquid sealer.
Tonight Jim has to take the boy to hockey so I may venture out in search of a new mattress - with one extra twin bed now, we’re short a mattress - we swapped all the kids beds around so the missing one is on the bunk bed for now, and no one needs to sleep there, but I’d like to get it before the empty bunkie board becomes some sort of Lego staging/building area.
