I got an email this morning from Steve – he’s the guy who did the artwork for 3daymom. He was contracted by the Web-Divas for it, and he followed through on his end, even if the Web Divas completely dropped the ball and screwed me. (Yeah, I’m looking at you Cherry!)
Apparently, I am not alone in getting screwed by the Divas! Steve wrote:
Colleen,
I hope you don’t mind, but I passed your email address along to another unhappy customer who’s started a blog complaining about Web Divas. She may contact you.
Thanks
Steve
Props to Steve by the way – even though he just does contract work for the Web-Divas, and he gets his money upfront from them for the custom artwork he creates (smart man!), he told me he wasn’t going to take any more work from them based on what’s going on. While I’m not happy that other people are dishing out money and not getting results from the Web-Divas, it’s nice to know I wasn’t singled out…there’s strength in numbers!

Divas??? I’m thinking words that aren’t diva.
If it’s OK with you, I’ve passed your link along to someone who had similar experiences.
[...] My Paypal issue occured when I was stupid enough to pay $200 for a design for a charity website to the Web Divas. I’m not going to rehash that whole mess now, but what happened on the Paypal side of things is that I waited too long and couldn’t get any money back. What’s too long? 45 days. Because I was nice and waited for my site to be worked on, I lost out on being able to file ANY type of complaint with them. Boohiss on PayPal for that! (They should institute some kind of feedback policy a la Ebay) [...]
