I saw this over at Amy’s – have fun!
Assignment from your English teacher:
If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don’t speak often or don’t really know each other) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me. It can be anything you want – good or bad – BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE. When you’re finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON’T ACTUALLY remember about you!

My favorite memory of ours, by far, is the time we went rollerblading at midnight – in the buff!!! Man, what a game of truth or dare will get a couple of girls into. That would have probably been just another funny, random event from our teenage years if we hadn’t gotten stopped by the bicycle cops on the way back. Wow, how much did that suck? Being pulled behind the cops’ bicycles on our rollerblades all the way to the county jail has to be one of the most humiliating things that ever happened to me. And let’s not even talk about once we got inside the jailhouse! What was that chick’s name in the cell with us? Bertha something or other? Okay, okay… I’ve got to stop before I trigger the nightmares again.
Colleen, I remember when we met! You were my cellmate in the jail… I know I was mean to you in the beginning but once you became my ‘bitch’ it was OK… We even became good friends! I’m sorry we lost touch once you got out but look, I’ve found you again! Good times, good times… I’ll be in touch.
The thing about you I remember best is that one time in driver’s ed when you ran the car off the road and then the teacher, Mr. what the heck was his name? anyway, he got mad at you and you looked at me in the rearview mirror and we started laughing and he yelled at both of us. Then he made you get out of the car because you almost killed us. Then I started driving, except I didn’t know how to start the car and then I started laughing so hard I couldn’t get the car to start. Mr. Glenn, (that’s his name!) he made me get out and he drove us back to school. That was so funny. Remember?
