Yesterday Disney opened up their new coaster - Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom - for a four day sneak peek, which was for passholders only. And I’m a passholder!
Oh wow…it was awesome! I went with my best friend Shannon and her husband Shane. We got there around 10ish and the park wasn’t even crowded. The weather was beautiful. We headed straight to Expedition Everest of course - got our free passholder prizes (lanyards and pins) and grabbed fast passes for later on. We waited less than 20 minutes in line and sat near the front. What a cool coaster! The 2nd time we went on it we sat in the back - completely different experience! We also went on the dinosaur coaster and Dinosaur the ride…and then headed to MGM, where we rode RNR coaster two times (the line was only 5 minutes long) and rode Tower of Terror once (10 minute line!)
Apparently everyone is waiting til the weekend to visit Disney, because it was crazy empty yesterday. We left and hit Chipotle on the way home. I’m not sure if my younger 2 will like the coaster or not, but I know Catherine will….so we’re going to have to plan another trip as soon as it opens for real.
