I love this show too! I’ve emailed Richard in the past just to congratulate him on the success of the show. BTW…Richard and crew are moving to TLC starting in July, so “Flip This House” will be a different cast and crew on A&E….

I love this show!!! My husband and I both watch. We live in Greenville S.C. where Richard and his crew moved the Shoeless Joe Jackson house. I’m so excited, the tour of the house is tonight and I’m praying I get to meet Richard and his crew. I can’t wait to see this episode on TV, hey I might be on TV. This is such GREAT ENTERTAINMENT!! Yea, I think Richard is kinda cute myself!! I’m sure my husband thinks the same about Ginger!

I love watching Flip This House and was so sad when I saw that there was a new team on the show now. I watched about 1 minute of it and decided to switch back to watching Big Brother All-stars!! That is really cool that Richard e-mailed you back!!!

I, too, am so disappointed in the new “Flip this House.” My husband and I started to watch the new season adn thought that the San Antonio crew was a joke. I miss the antics and “southerness” of the folks from South Carolina! There is some talk that Richard and crew are doing a new show….we’ll be on the lookout!

The show will be back very soon with Richard and the gang at Trademark Properties. They have already filmed several episodes in the area and it will probably be airing on TLC in the fall. Just wanted to let ya’ll know that they have not left us for good.

I was disappointed when the new season of Flip this House started and it was not Richard Davis and the team. I turned the show off. So now I am watching reruns of Richard at 7:00 every Sunday Night. I also hope Richard and the Team come back with new shows.

My family, some family friends, and I just went to Myrtle Beach on vacation. While in Myrtle Beach we drove down to Charelston and went to TradeMark-Properties in the hopes of meeting the crew of Flip This House. It was the family friend idea. When we got there not only did we meet Richard and the crew we got to have our pictures taken with them. It was so awesome, and extreemly nice of them to do that for us.

I hope the lost dog Ginger was taking care of and trying to find it’s owners is back safe and sound with the owner. I love the show so much and I can’t wait till the next season starts. FYI they said posibly December and they are moving to TLC.

After we went to TradeMark we went to the Charelston Crab House for lunch. It was so cool eating lunch in a place that they flipped.

My husband is in Charleston tonight and ran into Richard at a restaurant. My husband approached him and said that they spoke for about 15 minutes about remodelling (my husband sharing our disaster story) and getting some advice. My husband said that he is a really nice guy. I just got into real estate and was very upset that my husband didn’t give him one of my cards!!

I, too, do not watch Flip this House anymore unless it is one of Richards!

I sure do miss the old “Flip This House” shows. We were in Charleston, SC back in Sept. and eat at the Charleston Crab House twice while we were there, and the place looks great and so was the food. I am so glad to hear that the show will be back on again, and I think they made the right move by going to TLC much better network. The new people on Flip This House had NO appeal whatsoever and couldn’t hold my interest.
I think I watched the show less than a couple of minutes because it was really boring, just horrible!
Richard and his crew are what a perfect blend of people for this show should be like.

I was in Savannah, GA this past weekend and ran into Dawn from Flip This House at Uncle Bubba’s Restaurant. I told her how disappointed I was that I haven’t seen any new episodes with her, Richard, Ginger, etc. She told me that new episodes will begin to air on TLC in January. Can’t wait!!! Dawn is such a sweet person and was very gracious to take time out of her evening with her family to talk with me about the show.

I’m glad to see there are other folks as upset about the new season of Flip This House as I am. I e-mailed A&E and told them without Richard and his crew they just killed the show for me.

I went to the Temple/Clemson game last Thursday night in Charlotte. Our family is crazy about Clemson. My nephew and I sat down in our seats and this guy stood up about 4 rows below us….I couldn’t believe it. It was John Davis and sitting right beside him was his brother Richard. I just about flipped out. It was so exciting. At halftime I told my son about it (he’s 24) and he went over and talked to Richard and John and had his picture taken with them. They were just so nice all through the game. It seemed alot of people stopped to say hi and some got their pictures taken with them.

I love the show and have a question about a beautiful area in show #6. There was an area of town that had mini waterfalls that people were walking up and playing in. Please someone let me know where this was. I would love to travel there next summer. thanks in advance…

Just wanted to agree with the others, the “new” people on Flip This House stink. I had to go edit my TIVO this morning, it had taped loads of the new episodes and they are horrible. When we were in Charleston over the summer we stopped by Trademark Properties (it was in the evening) and took pictures. My husband and I acted like little kids visiting Barney’s house

For quite some time I have been encouraging friends and acquaintences to watch Richard, Ginger, Dawn and the rest of the Trademark Properties Crew on “Flip This House”. It came as a real surprise when soon after I began watching the initial episodes, I mentioned it to my Mother in Greenville, SC and she informed me that my nephew is working with the production crew.

That added even more to my enthusiasm for the show, so I was delighted to learn a while back that they would be coming back on TLC or Discovery with all new programming.

Today, I was on a political discussion forum and the subject of the housing market came up. Another poster mentioned “Flip This House” making so much money on their investments wnd profiting more than they should, so I immediately explained the tremendous streamlined success method Richard has developed to keep costs to a minimum while selling at realistic market prices.

From that, I did a quick “Google” search for recent info, and found your delightful blog. Let me wish you all the best success and extend my appreciation for your time and effort in making this available to others.

I have an old show with Richard and the gang playing on A&E in the background as I type this. I am happy to learn that TLC will pick it up. I never watch the new ones having tried a few times to get used to it. I didn’t connect with the people on the new shows, and I felt Richard was more down to earth, yet very much a business man to be admired! I’ll be tuning into TLC in January!

I left a email message for Richard Davis once and I never heard back. Our family loved that show Flip this house. I had watched a couple of other episodes and my husband said change this it just is not the same. We DO NOT watch it now. My husband said they ruined it by taking away Kevin, Richard, Dawn, Ginger and the rest of Team Trademark. I can only get my fix when there’s a rerun! Anyhow I think the new shows are actors? Can anyone prove otherwise? Thanks for letting me have my say. I feel better now.

The new episodes really do so cocky and i think they really cheap out on the houses they flip. Who paints kitchen counter tile? And they keep cheating their same builder out of money in every episode i’ve seen featuring them. The Atlanta crew is better, at least their not cocky and their trying to get a business off the ground. I really do like the ATL crew but I’ll be tuning to TLC in January. Nothing beats team trademark, especially ginger.

I have been down there in your town of Charleston several times. I see that your company is trying to expand to other parts of the country. Thats Great. When is the new show coming on and what is the new name??!!

It is my favorite show. How come they haven’t done any additional episodes ??? I stopped watching because I have seen all of them and don’t particularly like the new people. Yeah, sure wish they had given them 10 – 15 for shows, I have learned soo much. Take it easy!

I love the show too. The only difference is that I watched on the Flemish TV (Flanders, Belgium, Europe) Vitaya. They only showed the first season.

I must say that the difference between Amerika and Flanders in construction methods are big. We use only wood for the roofconstruction.

Richard is suing A&E. They stole his ideas and replaced him and his crew. The new crews are awful, I can’t even stand to watch it. Richard’s show is supposedly going to be on TLC soon!

The show without Richard Davis and gang is unwatchable. It’s “dark” and leaves you feeling “dirty” just watching it.

I used to watch two shows: college football and FTH. Now, I am down to one. Richard and gang are so good I even became a Clemson football fan. Congrats Richard on a good year. Hope you enjoyed your box. What is the status??? Is there a contract issue? Are you going to the show back on again? When???

Loved Team Trademark and regularly look for updates as to when their outing will take place on TLC. Hoping sooner rather than later!

The appeal that came w/Richard, Ginger and Team Trademark is missing from the current season and show. Richard carried confidence that came from experience. Armondo is cocky and arrogant not mention cheap. Not a leader, but rather a dictator.

Any word on when the new show is coming to TLC and what it will be called?

My husband and I are lost on Sunday nights without Richard and Ginger and the gang! We think the new show sucks and we can’t wait for the old crew to come back. We love you guys (or, “y’all” as they say in the south!)!!!

My husband and I began watching FLIP THIS HOUSE about 1 year ago with my parents and quickly became “addicted” to the realness of the show and it’s crew. We too did the whole , drive to Charleston nad get your picture made in front of Trademark Properties thing…just giddy the whole time. We even invested in a small house and got lots of tips on how to FLIP it on a MUCH smaller scale. We live in SC as well and that just added to the appeal of it all. Coincidentally we were at the Hootie and the Blowfish concert at the Bilo Center in Greenville last May and ran smack into Richard, Ginger, Dawn, and several other crew members. They were working on the Sholess Joe Jackson House at the time and were participating in some of the local nightlife. I don’t think they could have been any nicer. I told them how big of a fan my Dad was and Dawn actually called and talked to him on my cell phone at they concert. It was crazy, their “fame” certainly had not gone to their head. We were even included in some footage for the show that they were taping at the concert. Imagine my disappointment when we found out that the show was not going to air, and these crazy yahoo’s had taken over our show… I just hope that we can get some “real talent” back on the tube with “The Real Deal”. We miss those guys. Keep us posted!

The new show is called “The Real Deal” and according to my dish network guide it will start 3-10-07 and 9pm. I can go out 3 weeks on my guide so I went searching for it yesterday to see if I could find it and I did. I can’t wait.

I went to Charleston with my Fiance to find Trademark! I LOVED THAT SHOW! I was a follower from the first one I saw and then I saw the other two crappy groups they chose to be on and immediately stopped watching. Hearing that they’re going to have another show makes me so happy! Although I’m annoyed that the TiVo won’t tell me that it’s even on so I guess we’ll see. Hopefuly it’s on this Saturday!!!

So i stumbled upon this website and i must say that i’m glad to know th my wife and i aren’t the only fans of this show. We are actually going to go down and find his office, we have both been dying to meet richard.

It was funny because my wife works in billing for a trucking company and called me extremely excited because she had an invoice for trademark and got to talk to ginger!

I can’t wait for the new show on TLC from Team Trademark to air. I couldn’t help but notice from reading this blog that some female viewers are quite taken with Richard. I am a fan of his also. I don’t mean to rain on anyone’s parade but I read an interview he did on another website where he mentioned he had a wife who is a doctor. Fantasies are fun tho! I hope the new shows airs soon.

Love the show with Richard and crew, have been dirving my family crazy cause I hold the remote. lol and I watch all the show with Richard.

We watched the new show last night and loved it. I enjoyed seeing Richard and his sons along with Ginger and her faithful pup. We laugh at how he gets up against deadlines and manages to pull it off. But, just glad he is back on the air and we can enjoy the gang once again. Welcome back Trademark….we missed you.

I accidently came across that show a few weeks ago and it was so awesome, had to call my son and tell him about it. I have 3 houses here in Kansas I would love to sell them dirt cheap and see what they could do with them. I made the mistake of moving here and although it is an awesome place to live, it is too far away from my son so I neeed to sell out and move back closer to my son.

I love flip this house. I cant believe all that is going on. My husband \and I we dont really like any of the same shows but we plan our nights around watching the reruns on tv as well as the ones we dvr. I cant wait for the new show.

Hi Y’all. I am so glad that Flip This House is coming back on !!! I couldn’t stand to watch those crappy Flip This House episodes with those nobody’s running the show without Richard and the gang. It was just terrible and my husband and i just thought they had their 1 season run and it was over. I”m so glad to hear that TLC picked them up and the premeire is tomorrow night– cannot wait!!! Not to mention that Richard is adorable and my husband thinks Ginger is hot! Anyway, congrats Trademark!!!!

were the contractor increased the cost to renovate. The home in the
older neighbor hood. Do you hve the square footage of the home
and the new design layout.

Richard is married and has 3 boys – if you watch the TLC special “A Home Run For Trademark”, you’ll see how involved he is with his boys and how one of them inspired the project.

Richard and Ginger are awfullly close. Are they hooked up?

Just a heads up people, the reason for the deal in the launch of the REAL DEAL, is that the produciton crew had a very dificult time dealing with Richard and his people. Since the first show aired, the market has taken a down turn, thus the profits that he used tom make are now longer there. Anyway Richard is not the person he appears to be on the tv, lets just say that ten episode is all you are going to get, due to Richards massive ego.

My husband was in the excavating business when we first got married, and I met a lot of builders. yes most of them have big egos and some of them where just plain SOB’s . One even sold lake lots that were in the lake and got away with it. I haven’t seen any under handed dealing with Team Trademark,and Richard may have a big ego , but he produces a quailty product. I would buy a rehabbed home from him any day of the week.

Richard Davis is cerainly fantastic at what he does, but he comes off as a jerk a lot of the time. If you know you’re being seen on national TV, wouldn’t you watch your language? People in business know the importance of class and integrity. This guy is a smart aleck. He may be right about what he complains about, yes, but when he has to be “bleeped”, he just appears to be a creep.

We love Trademark and the team. We couldn’t stand the brothers and the black guy and the shoddy things and the way they treated their contractors. We are glad The Real Deal is now on and will continue to be great fans of the team. Go Richard!

I have a question maybe one of y’all can answer. That episode where Ginger cleaned out Richard’s truck when he got a new one…..how many thousands of dollars did she she find in there (the checks and such). I have a debate going on over this.

I believe ginger found a little over 7,000 in his truck… I wish i couild clean my husbands car out and find that much money! I love Richard Davis and the whole Trademark team!! Im from washington state and they make me want to move to the east coast!!!! I like how real they are and how team oriented they are!

I love the way Richard treats his kids. I am a single mom of two, and thats what impressed me. Not by the flipping, although I have always wanted to be apart of a flip. One thing I like is that he has a ton of charisma and a great personality.

Married or not…Richard is hot! Its his personality on the show that I find attractive.

To some he may come across with a huge ego, but you know, if you are good at what you do and its being aired, wouldn’t you have a little ego? He’s the boss, and everyone knows that, at the end of the day, he calls all the shots. But if he’s that much of a prick, why does his staff gravitate to him the way that they do? They can always leave. What I see, as I said, is a guy who knows what he’s doing, and he does it well. More impressive is the fact that he never ever forgets where he came from, and he never forgets that, or the people that knew him back then. He praises his staff when he sees due, and the whole team is just that, a team. I have watched every show since FTH and I have never seen Richard treat any of his staff as a number, but rather he treats them a helluvalot better than the bigger corporations treat their staff.

After Trademark walked away from A&E, FTH was never the same. They replaced Richard with idiots and Ginger with Hoochies. Ginger would never sell herself short and sell her sexuality. At least she has self respect.

I can’t wait till next weeks show!!!

Okay, so I have a question…I just found this site and went through all the comments. There was one comment back in April from Keith and he said there would only be 10 episodes of the Real Deal (Real Estate Pros)…what is that all about? Do you know something? And does anyone know the scoop on the name change from “The Real Deal” to “The Real Estate Pros”? I absolutely love the show and never miss an episode!

No one answered the question about Richard & Ginger being a couple. I don’t see a wedding band on richard’s finger, and his wife wasn’t at the big march to the new headquarters (at least that I saw) – so what’s the story?

I have been wondering the same thing,,,,,Richard & Ginger????? I LOVE the new show. I recently visted Charleston in the Spring…what a beautiful city. Trademark Properties makes me want to move there.

I am glad I am not the only person that was thinking the same thing about Richard and Ginger! More props to them if so, they make a cute couple. I also respect Ginger’s work ethic, even in her stilletos she’s not below staying till all hours of the morning and getting down and dirty with the rest of the workers. I watch the show whenever I can – and if I am ever in the area I for sure will stop by Trademark! The Texas fools totally creep me out – and that annoying wife SO needs to go. I read through all the court documents yesterday on flipthislawsuit.com – interesting! If anyone has the time (they’re LONG) I would suggest reading through them. It seems they are letting Richard’s defense of an oral contract stand – which is great. A&E needs to be held accountable – they’ve obviously done this before. Go Team Trademark! – Trisha from Texas

Ginger is the hottest of the hot. I go dumb watching her. Meanwhile, the Trademark team is the best “house flipping” team out there. A&E’s show has turned into a joke with obnoxious fraud/scammers.

My husband and I were just at the Trademark “store” on Market Street in Charleston a couple of days ago and someone there asked if Richard was married. The young lady at the counter said that he is divorced. It was too fun to see the inside of the building that was profiled on the show a couple of months back. We LOVE this show and look forward to watching every week – even will watch reruns. Keep em coming!

There is no doubt that Richard & Ginger are the best flippers of any of these shows… Trademark does it right… no scamming like ARMANDO and Sam LECCIMA…
I can’t believe that A&E keeps pumping out more episodes…

I love Richard and Ginger. I never miss an episode and was really happy when TLC picked up the show. I think Richard is a very hard worker and does so much for his community!!!

i love the new show..if you go to richards myspace page it says he is divorced..i dont think he and ginger are together..to much age difference and i dont think richards the type to mix business and pleasure…anyone know what happened to kevin? i see others have posted the same question but no one seems to know the answer…i liked him too..i think tlc should find him and give him his own show too…

I read once that he is (or was) married to a pediatrician. I feel sad if he is divorced. I think the new show must have evaporated. I never see ads for the new show any more, and saw a lot of reruns on TLC.

I would be surprised if there is anything between Richard and Ginger. I see only a working relationship — absolutely no other chemistry going on there.

My feeling is that the new show is all over. Hope I am wrong.

I would like to comment on my observations.

First, I love Richard Davis and the show. Just saw one of the first ones on rerun, and remembered fondly how I used to look forward to them so much. The new show just doesn’t do it for me.

I think what I have noticed and I think what others have noticed, is that Richard Davis started out with a confident swagger that was amusing and endearing. However, as usually happens with success, that swagger has turned into full-blown arrogance. You see the transformation happen slowly but steadily throughout each episode. That makes me sad. It has been my experience in life that when you start to believe your press and you develop that kind of arrogance, life has a way of putting you back in your place. I hope nothing like that happens to Richard, but I have seen it repeated many times in my life.

I am not an expert on the series as many of you here seem to be. That was not sarcasm, I mean that sincerely. You guys seem to follow the show more closely than I and you seem to know quite a bit about it. I join you in my love for Trademark Properties and its staff.

However, I hope that Richard and crew can find a good outlet to keep their flips on the air, as I enjoy them so much. But, still, I hope that Richard can have a “come to Jesus” moment and take a personal inventory of his ego and put it back in check. Confidence is attractive; arrrogance – never. And you can have confidence and be humble at the same time – now that is a powerful combination.

I’ve been a fan of Richard and the crew from day 1, the show is real, it’s not fake or “Hollywood” like most of those home improvement shows can be.
Too many of the so-called reality shows on today are so scripted and rehearsed it’s not even funny, it’s like the producers and directors are telling the cast what to do and when to do it and how to always go for the shock value to draw ratings, and Richard and the Trademark crew are so real just being themselves. I love Charleston and I love the show !

Does anyone know of a good website to check up on the crew?

I saw Richard at the Masters on Saturday. Looked at him an knew I knew him but by the time I realized it was him he was gone. It was during the rain delay and I was under shelter when he walked by with his umbrella and disappeared in the croud. Wish I would have talked with him to tell him how much I enjoyed his show.

I have been a fan since the very beginning . I loved Richard and all his
crew. It was the best homeimprovement show ever!!! I am from Texas,
and the San Antonio group make me ashamed that they represent Texas.
Richard, please come back. Your show was by far the best.
