Like [url=http://busymom.net/]Busy Mom[/url], I have a Target addiction. I went there 3 times in 3 days. It’s sick I tell ya!
On my first trip - I got 2 sleeveless sweaters for myself, for work - clearanced for $6 each. I got a dress for each of the girls - clearanced for $9 each. And I got a bikini for the oldest girl child, which was the whole reason for the trip.
On the second trip - 4th of July clothes galore! All of the patriotic clothes were $1 each. Can’t beat that for play clothes for the kids.

We’ve got 17 little tomatos on our tomato plant - we didn’t lose any of them from the winds and rain of Hurricane Dennis. Hopefully tropical depression #5 will be as kind to us.

I finally got some curtain rods today for my bedroom, and Shane was nice enough to come over tonight and hang them for me (since Jim is working all weekend - thank you Hurricane Dennis!)
I got the sheers from Target.com - $10 each. I got the rods today at LNT. The small one was $14.99 and the bigger one was $19.99 but I used a 20% off coupon on that one. I’m really impressed with how it came out and what a difference it makes in the room.

Working from home, going to run to Target to buy my oldest a new bathing suit, going to the library to return some books, and maybe the post office to mail bills and buy stamps.

We went to dinner at Beef O’ Brady’s - a family sports bar type of place with a gazillion TVs tuned to, what else, sports. Matthew announced over dinner that he really wished one of the TV’s was tuned to Lifetime or Soapnet, because he really likes The Golden Girls on Lifetime and a show on Soapnet with “a yellow haired girl named Jessica” (he means One Life To Live). I guess he’s been snuggling up with the Mormor watching her favorite shows??
Jim was a bit perturbed, I thought it was hilarious.

I went and got a pedicure today. Just me and my book, sitting in the massaging chair for an hour enjoying peace and quiet. My toes are pretty now. $23 well spent!

how much I love my boss?
He emailed me to say since he’s going to be out all next week for vacation, I can just work from home all week.
Gee, let me think about that for a minute….save myself 2 hours worth of commute and $40 in gas, not to mention my babysitting fees.
