We’re off to Disney for a few days with friends - the kids don’t know! I love surprising them :-)

Also known as, how people came here. They searched for:

party girl (which I am, but only on the weekends)
freakshow (I guess I could be, if I drank enough?)
manicure (sorry, don’t have one, but I could go for it!)
slinky (I do not have a slinky. I had one when I was little and killed it by twisting it in ways it wasn’t meant to be twisted)
pottyboy (Perhaps you mean party boy?)
babyboy (He’s 5, but he is my baby boy!)
sisters (I have sisters, and my girls are sisters of course)
bunkbed (Yep, we’ve got one of those!)
nickel slots (That’s a blast from the past! I haven’t played the slots since my last cruise)
pocket door framing (Don’t ask me dude - that’s what I have a handyman for.)
preciousmoments (I hate those big sad eyed kids!)
colleen jones - siblings (wrong last name, sorry!)

I just left my desk to go to my car for something. Upon my return, I realized I was in such a daze going downstairs that I had no clue how I got to the parking lot. Stairs? Elevator? Did Scotty beam me there? Scary.

My new shoes are making new blisters on my feet.

It’s Tuesday, but I thought it was Monday.

I brought the wrong girl scout cookies to work for my boss.

I borrowed a friends John Mayer CD and made myself a copy. Rowr! I have a new boyfriend and his name is John Mayer!

Jim did good for Valentine’s Day. I got my present this morning since he worked ALL day yesterday. (They sold about $10K in flowers).

There was a big box waiting for me on the dining room table this morning, wrapped in heart wrapping paper even! Jim called me and told me to open it while I was on the phone with him so I did. It was an awesome stainless steel pasta set - very nice! Just what I needed too, my old pots aren’t cutting it anymore.

Then he tells me to open the box and take a look at them to make sure I like them, uhh…whatever. There’s a huge picture on the box so I can see what they look like. I did it though, and right on top of the pot was a box from the jewelry store. Ooh! I opened that and it was a beautiful stick pendant with 3 rubies (my birthstone) in graduated sizes and a diamond in between each ruby. I had to wear it to work today with my new black v neck sweater to show it off.

He’s finally learning that jewelry is the KEY!

What a concert! I’m ranking it as my #3 all time favorite show behind Bruce Springsteen and U2. They played for almost 2 hours and it was amazing. I just can’t even put it into words. I never imagined I’d be able to see the band, in it’s main lineup, in concert. Ever. We were on our feet the whole time, singing and dancing and clapping. Just an excellent, excellent show. And just the right set - a perfect mix of some new stuff and all my old favorites. It went something like this:

But I have managed to smear grape jelly on my keyboard and mousepad. I’ve got a feeling this is not my day.

Otherwise known as, whadya MEAN we’ve got to go home tomorrow??

On the last day, God smiled at us. He smiled and laughed at us, because it was cold. And he made it snow, and took the temperature down to 5 degrees. And it was good.

Seriously, our last day was wonderful - all week long we wanted to go tubing, but with the weather, the ski places were making snow for skiing only, and not for their tubing runs. I woke up on Sunday morning to the sight of 3 men in my bed (Jim, Matthew, and Shane) Today I woke up with three men (Jim, Shane, and Matthew) in my bed attempting to wake me up because one of the ski resorts had FINALLY opened up their TUBING RUNS!!!! Yee haw! We went to Hawks Nest to buy tickets for the session and they were sold out. Jim went inside to ask about buying tickets for the next day and they said they had just opened up a new session from 5pm til 7pm. We bought our tickets and went and killed time with lunch and shopping. At 4:30 heading back up the mountain the snow flurries started. By the time we got up to the top it was snowing and overcast, and it continued the whole time we were there. We had such a good time tubing, but the snow turned into a small blizzard and then icy. It was 22 degrees there, without the windchill. With the windchill, it was below 7. Before we went out on the tubing runs Jim spent money in the store there buying the kids face mask - they wouldn’t have made it without it. I had my hood pulled down around my whole face - the snow was just blowing in sideways. The rest of me stayed toasty and dry though. I just can’t tell y’all how excited we were to see REAL snow falling and to go tubing. They had a new flat escalator thing to take you and the tube back up the run. Gracie and Matthew both turn turns with Jim and I, because by themselves they went too fast and hit the berm….LOL.

Then the ride home - and down the mountain. VERY SLOWLY. Our 1+ hour ride back to the cabin took about 2. The next day, Jim and Shane got up early and went to WalMart to buy discs for sledding. I woke up sick - with a fever - but I still got out there to enjoy the snow.

Pictures in the extended entry!
