This is my kind of meme!
Game Shows have kept us playing along for years? From What’s My Line? to Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, we watch, yell at stupid contestants and generally feel superior, because we could be doing so much better! So let’s see, do you have what it takes to play the game, or are you the Weakest Link?
1. Is there a game show (past or present) you think you would do really well on, as a contestant?
I rock at Jeopardy. Not to say I’m smart, but I know lots of useless bits of trivia, and I’m excellent at phrasing my answer in the form of a question.
2. Is there a game show you think is the stupidest thing you’ve ever seen?
Hmm…I think that show Concentration was pretty lame. And the sweaters that the host wore were ugly! (Who the heck hosted that anyway?)
3. Is there a game show you watch, but don’t like to admit to watching?
The Price Is Right ROCKS!!! I am the showcase showdown queen. And plinko is my favorite game. Let’s Make a Deal is a good one too - I always crack up at the costumes and the wacky items people are asked to produce. My favorite thing is when a contestent picks the wrong curtain and the prize is a burro or a pile of dirt.
~Bonus~ Who is your favorite game show host? Who is your least favorite?
I think I’m going to have to go with Monty Hall. He seemed nice and not to smarmy. Plus his thick ass toupee and ugly suits make him entertaining.

Someone at the elementary school hates me.
The nominating committee for the PFA called tonight and I was nominated by someone, or rather 2 someone’s in the school for not one, but 2 seperate positions - secretary and treasurer.
As if.
I called and left the woman a nice message saying I appreciated the thought but I am soooo not interested in that nonsense. I have no interest in tying up my free evenings with the PFA and their politics. These ladies are sooo wrapped up in the PFA that their little worlds revolve around it completely. Sheesh, I’ve only met 3 of the 10 hours I am required to volunteer each school year so far and these people want to suck up more of my tmie voting on what color flowers to use for the centerpieces at the father/daughter dance?
I wish I could find out who nominated me. I am not sending out PFA vibes when I am a school. I consider myself to be a bit of an antisocial mom in fact. I come to my kids function, I smile, I make nice, I go home. I’m just a bit in awe that anyone sees me as being the type to be interested in the position at all.

This might be all you hear out of me for the rest of the weekend. Happy hour kicked my ass tonight! Thank goodness for friends who drive my margarita drinkin’ ass home all safe and sound. Happy Easter all!

The green eyed girl is telling her Dad about Easter. She’s relating the story of Peter fighting with a soldier and cutting off his ear. She’s quite interested in the gruesome details. “Know where I’m getting this stuff? The bible”. Direct quote! What a ham!

I only lost an hour of sleep but I feel like I have jet lag. I went to bed last night around 11:30, and woke up around 8:30 (really, 7:30, so it’s not like I didn’t get enough rest.) Went to church with the family and came home - the kids and I were all down for naps by noon. My mom came by and took them to see the new Disney movie, and I was back down for the count, until 6pm!!!
Now I’ll probably be up all night…sheesh. What a dumbass I am for sleeping the day away!

I’ve got a fun weekend planned. Tomorrow morning my sister and I are hitting the big Old Navy sale. It’s been a long time since I was able to shop without the kids tagging along. Jim and I are going to see the hockey game tomorrow night also - the company suite rocks! We’re getting playoff tickets also - he’s so excited!
I also snagged tickets to take the kids to see Monsters On Ice next month, again, in the company suite.
I can’t believe it’s April already - sheesh! It’s a big month…our anniversary is on the 13th (8 years!), my sisters and my brother in law’s birthdays are later in the month, and in just about 3 weeks, my very favorite Kimmy is coming to visit. I’m taking two days off work to visit and I’m making all sorts of fun plans. She’s never been to Hooters, so that’s a must see. We’ve got an awesome one here right on the water. And a trip to the tea house for lunch…shopping….hanging out….yay!
