Hosted a Friday nite sundae bar party for the girls little friends
Drove said girls home and collapsed onto couch
Drove my girls to art class on Saturday morning
Cleaned the bathroom
Picked up the girls and drove into Tampa to visit with a friend who had a baby
Held the baby for the next 2 hours while the friend dove into the baby clothing I brought for her (Side note - are they making babies smaller these days? Or has it just been to long since I held a baby? Cause this baby girls toes were so small, they were almost invisible. If that doesn’t make me want another kid……)
Left and stopped at the drugstore to buy snacks for the ride home, also snagged hair dye on a whim
Became a redhead, which meant I had to clean the bathroom a second time
Fed the kids dinner
Dropped the kids off at my moms
Picked up my sister and treated her to a hockey game in my company suite (go Lightning!)
Drove home, collapsed into bed, made a deal with the husband to get me off the hook for Saturday night sex
Which brings me to the Sunday morning sex
And a shower
And breakfast with my men at McDonalds
And then hanging out at my moms while my husband and my brother did yard work for her
When I say “hang out” I really mean “typed a 4000 word term paper for a friend who can’t type and doesn’t have a computer and now really, REALLY owes me a few favors”
Ate steak at my moms
Bathed dirty children
Drove home
Filled out school paperwork for next year
Put fresh sheets on the kids beds
Promised my niece I would help her on my computer with school project due Friday
Tucked kids into bed
Tucked husband into bed
Watched 2 episodes of the Simpsons
Paid bills online
Decided to blog

My father is on the outs again with his significant other, so it seemed like the perfect time to invite him over to see our new house. He’s coming tomorrow afternoon, so today was spent organizing and cleaning. The things I go thru…
Tomorrow Jim is off so we’ll put the finishing touches on the house then. The kids will be staying at my moms tonight for a sleepover, so the house should stay clean until zero hour.
Jim and I are going to the cheapie movie tonight - a new cinema cafe opened up in the area showing older movies (aka 2 or 3 months old) for a song. Fine by me since I don’t usually get to the theater quick enough to see what I want. It’ll be a nice way to relax before I let myself get all stressed over my father coming over.
