I saw a dead guy on my way to work yesterday morning. He had been on a bicycle crossing 6 lanes of highway and got hit. By the time I passed by, the three northbound lanes were shut down and he was covered up on the road, but it was windy, so I saw a little more than I cared for.
I don’t believe in omens or superstition, but when I saw him I thought to myself, “That’s sooo not a good thing to see on the way to work….”, and instantly thought it was a sign of how my day would go.
My day at work was fine. It wasn’t til the evening that the other shoe dropped so to speak.
