It felt soooo good to sleep in today. I needed the rest - it’s been an exhausting week.
One of my best friends moved back home yesterday - I don’t know for how long or if she’ll be returning but I’ve felt awful about it, just knowing the day would come when she wasn’t here. Then something happened at work yesterday to set me off and I got upset too easily over it. But I think it will have a good outcome…we shall see what next week holds.
This morning we did some quick chores before going to a birthday party at the park. It’s a beautiful breezy day outside, it’s nice to be able to enjoy the park and the playground without the oppressive heat.
